We follow IKO and ABK international standards with structured and clear progression. We start with theory, move to kite control on land, body drag, waterstart and first directions. Each student advances at their own pace, with constant feedback from the instructor.

Cabana do Kite has been teaching kitesurfing in Icaraizinho de Amontada since 2007, right on the sand, and opened its beach club in 2010. Depending on the time of the season, the team has 8 to 10 IKO- and ABK-certified instructors. Kite lessons are private, one instructor for one student, or duo, one instructor for two students — never more —, always with radio support, in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. The equipment comes from the school's own fleet: around 25 boards and 30 Duotone and Ozone kites, in several sizes. It takes around 12 hours of lessons to ride independently. The wind season runs from July to January, peaking from August to October. Prices are on request: send your level and your dates on WhatsApp and the school builds the programme, confirmed in writing.
Safety briefing on the sand, kite control, body drag and water start in the shallow lagoon or in the bay, depending on your level and the day's wind. The instructor follows on the radio throughout the session.
